We are seeking an experienced Contract Design Engineer to support the Engineering Department with a key project. This is a hands‑on contract role for someone who can contribute immediately and work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities as Mechanical Design Engineer will be:

• Reverse engineering existing systems and components
• Creating CAD designs for all system parts
• Producing CAD layouts for assemblies and associated Work Instructions
• Creating accurate technical manufacturing drawings to company standards
• Rapid development of 3D models, assemblies, BOMs, and production‑ready documentation
• Supporting engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing teams with high‑quality technical data

About You:

• Strong SolidWorks experience (parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings)
• Proven ability to recreate legacy designs from drawings or physical parts
• Experience producing manufacturing drawings and structured BOMs
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced, short‑term contract role
• High attention to detail with a practical, production‑focused mindset
