Mechanical Design Engineer in HG1

Location

Ideally located in Harrogate, Leeds, York, Ripon, Otley, Knaresborough, Wetherby, Shipley, or Tadcaster.

Role Overview

Mechanical Design Engineer – responsible for turning complex requirements into practical, high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from enquiry to completion, providing technical input to sales.
• Produce pipe expansion designs and calculations.
• Work with internal teams and customers to deliver compliant, high-quality piping solutions.
• Resolve technical issues and ensure project compliance.
• Take technical lead on a variety of projects across the UK.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Design Engineer with experience using AutoCAD.
• Pipework experience is advantageous.
• Commutable to Harrogate.

Working Hours

Monday‑Thursday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday early finish.

Benefits

• Salary range: £45,000 – £55,000.
