Maintenance Engineer – Days

Location: Nelson site.

Hours: 7am to 5:30am Monday to Thursday, Friday off.

Salary: £38,000 plus benefits.

Occasional overtime on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) across all production equipment.
• Diagnose faults on mechanical machinery, working closely with the Maintenance Manager on this busy site.
• Perform reactive repairs for breakdowns on food machinery such as flow wrappers, mixers, coolers etc.
• Support operational output through a mix of planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Some experience working on machinery.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Reliable and motivated engineer.
