We need a technical manager who can work closely with client on their power quality which include Power Factor Correction (PFC) and Active Harmonic Filters (AHF).

  • Repair & Maintenance of PFC Equipment
  • Servicing of PFC Equipment
  • Servicing of Active Harmonic Filters
  • Metering – Supply, Install & Commission
  • Data Logging & Load Monitoring
  • Voltage Event Recording
  • Harmonic Monitoring & Analysis
  • Power Quality Monitoring & Reports
  • Thermal Imaging Reports

Core duties

  • Quoting new equipment enquiries, I.E. PFC / AHF
  • Interpreting specifications and customer requirements for more complex enquiries such as multiple AHF or Hybrid Filters
  • Review of customer loading or electricity bills to determine PFC needs
  • Understand PQ and Harmonic standards to determine necessary solutions
  • Providing site service engineers with technical back up and equipment pricing
  • Writing reports
  • Providing recommendations from those reports
  • Ordering parts and equipment for own and other projects
  • Liaise with suppliers and monitor progress
  • Checking stock levels and agreeing requirements with service engineers
  • Carrying out Safe Contractor review and that H&S policy is reviewed and updated
  • Ensuring RAMS are reviewed and updated
  • Site attendance for surveys & monitoring
  • Investigate potential new markets for products
