Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across mechanical systems

  • Monitor plant performance and take a proactive approach to maintenance
  • Work closely with subcontractors and site teams to keep standards high
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements

Essential:

  • Mechanical qualification (NVQ / C&G Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Experience working within commercial, retail, or large public buildings
  • Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems
  • Solid fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar high‑footfall site
  • Mechanical qualification (NVQ / C&G Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Basic knowledge of BMS or controls systems
