Qualifications
- Essential:
- Expertise in software control systems with practical hands‑on skills
- Understanding of pneumatic circuits and electrical diagrams
- Minimum 10 years’ experience with automation machinery
- Self‑motivated with a positive attitude
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Desirable:
- Experience with Omron, Siemens, Allen Bradley
- Programming and integrating 6‑axis, SCARA, or Delta robots into automation systems
- Interfacing to injection moulding machines
Roles & Responsibilities
- Full software coding and HMI screen development for complex automation systems
- Commissioning & developing special‑purpose machines
- Fault finding of control and safety systems at ATM and customer sites
- Developing machine processes to achieve performance requirements
- Programming of various robots, including 6‑axis (Nachi preferred), SCARA & Delta
- On‑site support and servicing of mechanical and electrical systems
- Modifications and enhancements to existing systems
- Providing customer training on delivered machines
- Communicating effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members
Requirements
- Work away at short notice and complete required hours to finish the job
- Work as part of a team of engineers
