Our client is a global manufacturer of specialist scientific instrumentation, helping laboratories around the world enable advancements in many areas such as pharmaceutical, food, environmental and healthcare. They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their team in the South of England.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, installing, and repairing scientific instrumentation onsite, specialising in the company’s inorganic product range (ICP, FT‑IR, UV/Vis, GC & AA instrumentation).
- Covering a local territory across the M4 corridor with travel further afield in the South of England.
- Diagnosing faults on complex scientific equipment ensuring prompt, flexible and customer‑focused support.
- Managing equipment and spare parts.
Required Qualifications
- HND in engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience servicing complex scientific instrumentation (chromatography, mass spectrometry, automation) from a range of instrument vendors.
- Knowledge of GMP.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel up to 80% of your time.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
