Electrical Maintenance Engineer – City of London – £47,000 + Excellent Benefits

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established building services provider at a prestigious site in the City of London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer seeking a stable Monday–Friday role with strong benefits, career development, and progression opportunities.

The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across a modern commercial property. You will ensure all electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to the smooth operation of the site.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
  • Fault finding on electrical systems and associated plant
  • Maintenance of lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and control systems
  • Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations
  • Liaising with site management and subcontractors when required

Requirements

  • Fully qualified electrician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition (essential)
  • Previous experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Strong fault‑finding ability and proactive approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Package
