Process Controls Engineer

Overview
An innovative engineering organisation is seeking a Process Controls Engineer to bridge Process and Controls Engineering. You'll translate process requirements into structured documentation and support the design, development, and deployment of control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and document process control requirements and logic
- Produce design documentation (e.g., I/O lists, SFCs, ladder logic, C&E matrices)
- Support controls architecture and PLC/SCADA development
- Contribute to process improvement, testing, and validation activities
- Assist with functional safety and system performance analysis
- Collaborate across engineering teams and share knowledge
Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in an engineering discipline
- ~5+ years' experience in process, manufacturing, or R&D environments
- Broad technical knowledge and strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator with a proactive approach
