Technical Sales Engineer, Electrical and Electronic Components covering UK and Scandinavia - International Travel. We're currently working with a very well-established highly regarded organisation, growing exponentially year on year within the electronic components sector. They are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Technical Sales Engineer.
This role focuses on design-in / specification sales, working closely with customers at the early stages of product development to secure component selection and long-term revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive design-in opportunities with OEMs and engineering teams
- Build relationships with design engineers, R&D teams, and procurement
- Identify and win new business across a broad range of industries
- Provide technical guidance on electronic component solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from concept through to production
- Collaborate with internal technical and product teams
What We're Looking For
- Experience selling electronic components or related technical products
- Proven track record in design-in / specification sales
- Background in technologies such as semiconductors, passive components, connectors, embedded solutions or optoelectronics
- Ability to engage confidently with engineers and technical stakeholders
- Commercial mindset with strong business development skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
