Continuous Improvement Engineer – Cornwall – £55,000-£60,000 + 10% Bonus + £8,000 Relocation

A well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Cornwall is currently going through an exciting period of expansion and is looking to appoint a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across the site.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Engineer who is passionate about lean manufacturing, data‑driven decision making, and delivering measurable improvements in performance.

The Role

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, leading, and implementing improvement initiatives across production. The successful Continuous Improvement Engineer will play a key role in enhancing OEE, reducing waste, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead OEE improvement projects across manufacturing lines as a Continuous Improvement Engineer
  • Drive Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops
  • Apply Six Sigma methodologies to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
  • Analyse production data to identify trends, losses, and improvement opportunitiesWork cross‑functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams
  • Support the development of a continuous improvement culture on site

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Continuous Improvement Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of OEE, lean manufacturing, and waste reduction techniques
  • Experience with Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies (certification desirable)
  • Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
