About the Role
Our client is seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join their International Division. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in securing profitable international business, working primarily with private individuals relocating from the UK to destinations across Europe and worldwide.
You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from initial enquiry through to proposal and follow-up, ensuring a high level of service and professionalism throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prioritise daily sales activities to maximise opportunities
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from private, corporate, and trade clients
- Promote and sell international relocation services
- Prepare accurate quotations and detailed proposals
- Follow up on all proposals to secure business
- Work closely with senior management to grow international sales
- Achieve individual sales targets
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Advise clients on suitable insurance options
- Communicate client requirements clearly to operational teams
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international and European relocation processes
- Provide holiday cover and administrative support where required
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous sales experience within a similar role/industry (relocation/logistics desirable)
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience preparing proposals and quotations
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Additional Requirements
- DBS check is mandatory
- Willingness to undertake relevant training (including Health & Safety and GDPR)
- Occasional travel to Welwyn Garden City
