Artis HR are proud to support a well‑established organization in the search for an experienced HR Operations Team Manager to join their People function on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of People Hub & ER, you'll lead the day‑to‑day operations of the HR shared services function, ensuring a high‑quality, efficient and employee‑focused service across the full employee lifecycle.
- Lead and manage the People Hub / HR Operations team
- Oversee delivery of core HR services including onboarding, off‑boarding, data and benefits administration
- Manage workflow, capacity and SLAs to maintain service excellence
- Act as an escalation point for complex issues, driving root cause analysis and solutions
- Coaching and developing the team to build a high‑performance culture
- Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation and use of HR systems/technology
- Partner with ER, Payroll and People Partners to ensure seamless delivery
- Ensure strong governance, compliance and data integrity
About You
- Proven experience leading HR operations or shared services team
- Strong knowledge of the employee lifecycle and UK employment law
- Experience managing SLAs, workflows and service delivery
- A confident leader with a passion for developing and coaching teams
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
