We are looking to recruit outstanding people for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Inpatient Units. Applicants are welcome from a variety of professional backgrounds including adult mental health, learning disability and paediatric settings.

Responsibilities
- Plan clinical care as a clinical charge nurse.
- Work as part of the nursing team, employing pre‑existing clinical skills to provide a therapeutic and safe environment.
- Develop skills in an acute mental health setting, maintaining a calm and contained demeanour.
- Assess risk formally and informally, balancing least restrictive principles with safety.
- Apply relevant legal frameworks, including the Mental Health Act 1983, Capacity Act 2005 and the Children Act 1989.
Qualifications
- Qualified RMN, LD or Children’s Nurse.
- Understanding of challenges facing nurses caring for young people with mental health difficulties.
- Demonstrated resilience, empathy and commitment to supporting young people.
