They are looking to expand their team and are therefore seeking a proactive Health & Safety manager to join them.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain health & safety management systems across projects.
- Conduct site audits, inspections and risk assessments ensuring corrective actions are taken where necessary.
- Provide training, advice, and support to project teams and subcontractors.
- Keep up to date with current H&S legislation and best practice, ensuring compliance across all operations.
- Lead incident investigations, preparing reports and recommending improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement in health, safety and well being across the business.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH Diploma and membership of IOSH
- Proven experience in Health & Safety management role withing the construction industry - 4-6 years desirable.
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S regulations, CDM regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
- Proactive, solutions focused, and passionate about creating safe working environments.
