Office Manager & Insurance Case Handler
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an Office Manager & Insurance Case Handler to play a key role in both the day‑to‑day running of the office and the handling of commercial insurance cases.
This is a hands‑on, varied position ideal for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys responsibility and autonomy, or for someone who is looking to take a step up to manage a well‑established, and very knowledgeable team. You will oversee office operations while managing commercial insurance cases from quotation through to renewal and mid‑term adjustments.
Key Responsibilities
This role has two main parts, and your time will be equally split between the two:
Office Management
- Oversee the smooth daily operation of the office, including prioritising and delegating work to the team.
- Manage administrative processes, workflows, and documentation, and being the point of escalation for any queries.
- Act as a central point of contact for suppliers and service providers.
- Support compliance procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Work with, and support directors with complex cases, including claims.
- Assist directors with reporting, organisation, and give them a clear picture of how the business is performing.
Insurance Case Handling
- Manage commercial insurance policies across multiple classes (e.g. Property, Liability, Motor, Manufacturing, Medical, Professional Services & Package policies)
- Handle new business, renewals, and mid‑term adjustments
- Liaise with insurers, underwriters, and clients to secure competitive terms
- Prepare policy documentation, schedules, and endorsements
- Provide clear, professional advice and service to clients
What we are looking for in the Candidate
- Previous experience within a commercial insurance brokerage (essential)
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
- Experience in office or operations management is highly desirable
- Cert CII or working towards professional insurance qualifications (preferred but not essential)
