Job Title: Project Manager

Overview

As a Project Manager at Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury, you will lead medium‑to‑high‑complexity engineering projects that support major UK Defence and Security contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of engineering projects, ensuring delivery to agreed cost, schedule and quality targets
  • Lead end‑to‑end project delivery, from scoping and solution design through to handover
  • Produce pricing models, gate review inputs and proposal documentation
  • Manage project risks and apply lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers and supply chain partners to deliver complex solutions

Essential Experience

  • Experience delivering engineering or technical projects using recognised project management methodologies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness, including cost and margin control
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers
  • Background within defence, security or similarly regulated environments

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Recognised project management qualification or membership (e.g., APM, PRINCE2 or PMI), or willingness to obtain

Security Clearance
