You’ll make an impact by:
- Lead the day‑to‑day operational performance of infrastructure platforms, ensuring service adherence, issue resolution, and robust service governance.
- Oversee infrastructure platform contributions to major programmes, including design feasibility, resource allocation, supplier engagement, and risk management.
- Develop and maintain platform roadmaps aligned with business priorities, technology trends, and budget parameters.
- Drive optimisation across availability, capacity, performance, security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Lead the decommissioning of legacy technology and promote automation and modernisation across platforms.
- Act as a senior stakeholder interface across CIO and Core T&O, ensuring platform needs and risks are clearly communicated and understood.
- Oversee vendor performance, contractual compliance, service reviews, and cost management activities.
Your skills and experience:
- Extensive experience across IT product delivery, including enterprise or technology architecture.
- Excellent understanding of data centre, and cloud IaaS technologies, including AWS and Azure.
- Experience leading operations for multi‑tenant and multi‑cloud environments.
- Excellent skills with experience managing teams and influencing stakeholders across large global organisations.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment, with comfort navigating ambiguity and making strategic decisions.
- Deep knowledge of Cloud Platform architectures and migration pathways from on‑prem to cloud.
- Working knowledge of DevOps, continuous engineering, automation tooling, and modern operational models.
