We are currently seeking an Experienced Press Setter/Tool Setter and part-operator within the company. The company undertakes presswork, Deep drawn components, and toolmaking amongst other operations. Working in a variety of standard and exotic metals including Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel and others..nnResponsibilities/ExpectationsnnYou would be expected of the following:nn * Set mechanical presses up to 800 tons.nn * Set hydraulic presses up to 200 tonsnn * Set tandem pressesnn * Operate presses when required (common on development jobs or small batch work).nn * To have good housekeeping.nn * To have good organisation skills (especially with press shop tooling).nn * To have a clear capability of reading and working to technical drawings.nn * Any additional experience/capability on lathes will be an advantage.nnQualificationsnnCandidates should be experienced, possess relevant certification and have a proven track record in Press Setting, including the setting of: Mechanical, Hydraulic, Tandem with other press shop related machinery.nnDays
