Electronic Repair Techniciannn * Southampton, Hampshirenn * £35,000 to £42,000 per yearnn * Plus an excellent company benefits packagennThe Opportunity:nnI’m on the lookout for an ambitious individual to take ownership of the hands-on repair, testing and diagnostic of cutting-edge roadside camera systems.nnThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working across new product development (NPD) and getting under the hood of intricate hardware systems.nnYou’ll carrying out component-level fault-finding, repair and testing as well as troubleshooting basic software and networking issues.nnSkills and Experience:nn * Minimum of 2 years' experience in an electronic repair or diagnostics environment.nn * Strong fault-finding skills to component level.nn * Proficient use of lab and diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators and bench power supplies.nn * Knowledge of setting up static IP address on local networks would be beneficial.nn * Able to pass basic criminal background checks.nnRole and Responsibilities:nn * Conducting detailed fault diagnosis to component level, identifying root causes, and implementing effective repairs.nn * Using a range of test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, bench PSUs, etc.) to verify functionality and reliability.nn * Collaborating with hardware engineers on complex or undocumented faults to develop practical repair solutions.nn * Supporting prototype assembly, test and validation activities within the NPD process.nn * Ensuring work is completed accurately and without introducing collateral damage.nnApplications:nnPlease contact James here at ISR to understand more about how our client are growing their teams across a number of key areas and how you can become a part of their expanding business as they look to develop their capabilities further in the Transport Technology sector
