Job Description: Senior Construction Project ManagernnLocation: London, UKnnContract: 6 months, 2 days per week on sitennOverview:nnThis person would be the senior project manager for a high-profile project in the built environment sector taking place in London and would have the technical and scheduling knowledge to manage the contractor’s delivery teams and designer.nnJob Responsibilities:n– Lead construction delivery.n- Hold the contractor to account on scheduling and cost.n- Risk Management & Mitigation. Identify potential project roadblocks — such as permit delays or budget overruns and implement strategies to keep the project on track.n- Primary Liaison, act as the main point of contact between the owner/developer and the design team (Architects/Engineers).n– Coordination between professional services, contractor, key stakeholders & internal stakeholders.n- Regular reporting on progress to senior leaders.nnEssential Requirements:n- Proven construction technical and methodology expertise.n- Proven financial management experience.n- An understanding of different contract suites e.g. JCT / NEC.n- Detailed scheduling knowledge e.g.
Primavera, MS Project.n- Expert knowledge of Health and Safety law and regulations in a construction environment
