We are working with a respected Leeds based Law firm who are looking for an Assistant Paralegal to join their Wills and Probate team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop and further their legal career within a supportive setting; the successful candidate will ideally have a Wills & Probate background, but other areas of a law will also be considered.nnProviding high‑quality paralegal and administrative support to the fee earners where you will be assisting with a wide range of private client matters whilst delivering an excellent standard of client care. Key responsibilities will include;nnAssisting with the drafting of wills, lasting powers of attorney and related documentsnSupporting all aspects of probate and estate administrationnPreparing probate applications and inheritance tax forms nObtaining asset and liability valuationsnCorresponding with clients, beneficiaries, HMRC, financial institutions and other third partiesnAttending client meetings where appropriate nManaging filesnAssisting with billing, time recording, and file administration nnThis is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Paralegal, Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, the ideal applicant will have;nnAn understanding of Wills and Probate (desirable)nUnderstanding of probate processes and estate administrationnStrong organisational skills and excellent attention to detailnProfessional, empathetic and client‑focused approachnConfident written and verbal communication skillsnGood IT skills, including case management systems and Microsoft OfficenAbility to work independently and as part of a team nnIf you hold the above skills and experiences and are looking for a new opportunity, please submit your CV for review.
