Children’s Residential Support WorkernnWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a client providing both children’s residential care and supported accommodation services across Southampton.nnTheir children’s homes support young people aged 11–15, while their supported accommodation services work with 16–18-year-olds preparing for independence.nnAbout the RolennAs a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will act as a positive role model and parental figure, supporting young people with their daily routines, emotional wellbeing and personal development.nnYou will be working within small, supportive teams to help create a safe, nurturing and structured environment.nnShifts & Hours-nn * Long day: 9:00am – 11:00pm + sleep-innn * Morning: 7:00am – 9:30am (next day)nn * 3-week rolling rota:nn * Week 1: 2 shiftsnn * Week 2: 2 shiftsnn * Week 3: 3 shiftsnn * Total: 115.5 hours every 3 weeksnnBenefits-nn * Opportunity to transition from temp to permanentnn * Funded qualifications:nn * Level 4 Residential Childcare (or Level 3 depending on eligibility)nn * Specialist training including:nn * PRICE restraint trainingnn * Developmental Traumann * Therapeutic Parentingnn * Meals provided on shiftnn * Small, supportive team environmentsnnRequirements-nn * Aged 21 or overnn * Full manual UK driving licencenn * Minimum 6 months’ experience in residential childcarenn * Comfortable completing sleep-in shiftsnnIf you’re passionate about making a difference and supporting young people to thrive, we’d love to hear from you
