We are seeking a skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team covering Birmingham and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for stable, long-term work across secure sites with structured hours and clear overtime opportunities.nnHours of WorknnMonday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (41.25 hours per week)nnThe RolennAs an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites. The Electrical Engineer will carry out electrical fault finding, repairs, and installations, while also supporting wider building services maintenance activities.nnKey Responsibilitiesnn * nn Carry out electrical PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive works as an Electrical Engineernn * nn Diagnose faults, repair electrical systems, and complete installation worksnn * nn Respond to maintenance requests within agreed timeframes to ensure high service standardsnn * nn Undertake general building services tasks including minor mechanical, HVAC, and fabric maintenancenn * nn Participate in the on-call rota and respond to emergency callouts when requirednn * nn Issue Permits to Work and monitor contractor activities where necessarynn * nn Ensure all electrical systems and equipment operate to required safety and performance standardsnn * nn Maintain accurate records and complete reports using company systemsnn * nn Represent the business professionally while delivering excellent customer service as an Electrical EngineernnWhat We’re Looking FornnEssential:nn * nn Proven background working as an Electrical Engineer within facilities management or building servicesnn * nn Strong knowledge of reactive and PPM maintenance within commercial environmentsnn * nn Ability to fault find, repair, and maintain electrical systems independentlynn * nn Full UK Driving Licencenn * nn 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulationsnn * Qualifications (One of the following): Electrical Level 2&3 City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalentnnDesirable:nn * nn City & Guilds Inspection & Testing (2394/2395)nn * nn JIB Accreditationnn * nn IPAF or PASMA certificationnn * nn Completed recognised electrical apprenticeshipnn * nn Securitynn * nn BPSS Clearance (or ability to obtain)nnIf you are an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a mobile role, consistent overtime, and the chance to grow with a developing team, we’d like to hear from you
