Electrical Engineer – St James Park – £45,000 + Overtime + Call OutnnAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team at a prestigious mixed-use site in St James Park. This is a static, landlord-side role supporting retail, commercial, and residential systems.nnYou will be joining a stable and experienced team, working alongside a Supervisor and three engineers. This vacancy has arisen due to the resignation of a long-standing team member.nnRole OverviewnnThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
You will be working on a wide range of systems including chillers, cooling towers, and associated building services infrastructure.nnKey Responsibilitiesnn * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical worksnn * Perform safe isolation and LOTO proceduresnn * Electrical installations including lighting, sockets, and ballastsnn * Emergency lighting and fire alarm testingnn * Maintenance and fault finding on MCC panels, distribution boards, and submainsnn * Work on 3-phase electrical systemsnn * Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulationsnnHours & Packagenn * Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00nn * Salary: £45,000nn * Call Out: 1 in 4 (£130 standby)nn * Overtime available (1.5x and 2x rates)nnRequirementsnn * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (essential)nn * Proven experience in commercial building maintenancenn * Strong knowledge of electrical systems and compliancenn * Ability to work independently and as part of a teamnnThis is a great opportunity to join a reputable company offering long-term stability, a strong team environment, and excellent earning potential through overtime.nnApply now or contact us for more information
