Our client is seeking a highly experienced L&D Consultant (AI and Data) to support the early stages of a major organisational capability transformation within financial industry.nThis is a strategic, advisory-only role working closely with the Director of Organisational Capability to design a forward-thinking, enterprise-wide learning strategy focused on AI and data capability uplift across the organisation.nThis role will be instrumental in shaping how the organisation builds AI and data literacy, develops functional and technical learning pathways, and prepares its workforce for a rapidly evolving digital future.n nWhat’s on Offer:nnRole type: Full-time, 3-month assignment (maternity cover)nStart date: ASAPnHybrid working: 1–2 days per week in the officenPay Rate: £440 per day nKey Responsibilities:nnDesign a comprehensive enterprise-wide AI and Data learning strategy aligned to organisational goalsnDevelop a multi-tier capability framework (foundation, intermediate, advanced) across all job familiesnDefine learning pathways for generalist, functional, and technical audiencesnEstablish success measures, KPIs, and capability uplift milestonesnDefine organisation-wide AI and data literacy strategy, including responsible and ethical AI usenBuild on existing initiatives to create a scalable and structured learning approachnDesign targeted functional learning pathways across operations, HR, finance, digital, IT, and customer servicesnRecommend blended learning approaches including in-role learning, simulations, and vendor-led programmesnDevelop strategy for technical upskilling and accreditation pathways, including apprenticeship levy opportunitiesnIdentify relevant certifications and structured learning routes for specialist rolesnConduct future skills analysis and horizon scanning to identify emerging AI and data trendsnAdvise on external partnerships with universities, vendors, and learning providersnEngage and influence senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational strategy and transformation priorities nSkills, Experience, and Requirements:nEssential:nnExtensive experience in L&D strategy, organisational development, or capability building at a senior levelnProven experience designing enterprise-wide digital, data, or AI capability frameworksnStrong understanding of AI fundamentals, data literacy, and responsible AI practicesnExperience building structured learning pathways and role-based capability modelsnStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership levelnExcellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex technical conceptsDesirable:nnExperience with apprenticeship levy-funded programmes or accredited learning frameworksnExposure to public sector or regulated environmentsnExperience working with external learning providers or academic institutions nOur Ideal Consultant:nnA strategic thinker with deep expertise in learning and capability transformationnConfident operating at executive and board influence levelnAble to translate emerging AI and data trends into practical workforce strategiesnHighly analytical, structured, and outcomes-focusednStrong storyteller with the ability to inspire and influence changenExperienced in designing scalable, future-ready learning ecosystems nHow to Apply:nIf you are an experienced L&D strategist with a passion for AI, data, and future skills development, we would love to hear from you.
