We’re supporting a global engineering organisation delivering complex offshore wind projects, looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer with specialist experience in cable and connector systems.nThis is a technically focused role working across high-voltage inter-array cable systems, covering engineering, testing, and offshore commissioning.nThe RolenYou’ll play a key role in ensuring the integrity, performance, and successful commissioning of offshore cable systems, working closely with both internal teams and external suppliers.nKey areas include:n * Engineering input across HV cable and connector systemsn * Defining termination, testing, and commissioning proceduresn * Supporting offshore installation and commissioning activitiesn * Coordinating with suppliers and project teamsn * Specifying and overseeing testing in line with IEC / IEEE / CIGRÉ standardsn * Supporting fault analysis, diagnostics, and system performancenWhat They’re Looking Forn * Experience within offshore wind cable systemsn * Strong knowledge of connectors, terminations, and commissioning/testingn * Understanding of HV testing methods (e.g. VLF, partial discharge, TDR, Tan Delta, DAC)n * Familiarity with IEC / IEEE / ISO / CIGRÉ standardsn * Background working with subsea cables and offshore substationsn * Comfortable working across both engineering and offshore environmentsn Chartered status (or working towards) is advantageous.nWhy Consider Itn * Highly specialised role within offshore windn * Involvement in complex, large-scale projectsn * Opportunity to influence engineering standards and approachn * Strong benefits package and long-term progressionnAdditional Infon * Offshore and international travel requiredn * Hybrid working modeln * Working as part of a global engineering function
