The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing care and support to children and young people in crisis, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.nnYou will have experience of working with children and young people who may have challenging behaviors and suffered trauma and neglect.nnKGRS works across locations in the North East including Newcastle, Gateshead and DurhamnnResponsibilitiesnn * Support the children and young people within their home and out in the community with activitiesnn * Maintain accurate daily recordsnn * Engage in meaningful interactions with the children and young people to promote their emotional well-being and social engagement.nn * Work closely with management and other professionalsnn * Support with cleaning and cookingnn * Support the young personal learning independent skillsnnRequirementsnn * 1 years UK previous experience working with children ideally in a residential settingnn * NVQ 3 with children and young people is highly desirable.nn * A valid driving license with business insurance is advantageousnn * You will be required to complete practical and online training before starting worknn * Fully enhanced DBS checknn * 5 years employment referencingnn * You must be flexible and be available to pick up at least 2 shifts a week, various shifts including sleep in and waking nightsnnIf you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and possess the skills outlined above, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role as a Support Worker
