An established and growing Manchester-based contractor is looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to support and help drive the continued expansion of their nationwide fire division.nnThis is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a business that is already delivering consistent revenue in fire safety works, but is now actively investing in scaling this part of the operation — offering real scope to influence growth, processes, and long-term direction.nnYou’ll be responsible for managing passive fire protection projects across a range of sectors, working closely with senior leadership to strengthen delivery and support business growth across the UK.nnProjects include fire door installation and remediation, fire stopping, and wider compliance-led works across commercial and public sector environments.nnKey responsibilities includenn * Managing multiple passive fire protection projects across the UKnn * Overseeing site teams including fire door installers and fire stoppersnn * Ensuring works are delivered in line with compliance standards (e.g. BM TRADA)nn * Client liaison across key frameworks and national contractsnn * Managing programme, quality, and commercial performance of projectsnn * Supporting operational growth within the fire division and generating new business development opportunitiesnnWhat we’re looking fornn * Experience in passive fire protection (fire doors and/or fire stopping)nn * Background in a Project Manager or Contracts Manager rolenn * Strong understanding of compliance and third-party accreditation standardsnn * Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholdersnn * Ideally, existing industry network (clients, subcontractors, or operatives)nnThe opportunitynn * Join a business with strong existing client relationships across major frameworksnn * Be part of a growing fire division with clear investment and ambitionnn * Work across a diverse portfolio including education, commercial, healthcare, and specialist environmentsnn * Opportunity to shape processes and contribute to long-term growthnnThis isn’t just another delivery role — it’s an opportunity to step into a business where the fire division is already performing, but still has significant headroom for growth.nnYou’ll be working closely with leadership, giving you visibility, influence, and the chance to play a key part in how this function evolves.nnIf this sounds of interest, apply today or get in touch for a confidential discussion
