OverviewnnThis Site Engineer role will support the delivery of wastewater infrastructure works within a major water framework. The Site Engineer will be responsible for setting out, survey control, and accurate site engineering across civils-led works, including below-ground structures, pipework, drainage, access arrangements, and interfaces with mechanical and electrical installations. The Site Engineer will work closely with the site team to help ensure the project is delivered safely, accurately, and to programme.nnKey ResponsibilitiesnnThe Site Engineer will:nn * Establish and maintain level and survey control for the contractnn * Set out detailed works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and design informationnn * Carry out regular checks to ensure setting out accuracy and compliancenn * Support the delivery of civils works associated with wastewater infrastructure, including excavations, concrete structures, pipework, and asset tie-insnn * Work with the Site Agent and delivery team to support a safe and efficient sequence of worksnn * Produce and maintain site records, including site diaries and allocation sheetsnn * Prepare ITPs, task briefings, and 2-week lookaheadsnn * Liaise with procurement to ensure materials, plant, and resources are available to support the programmenn * Resolve technical issues as they arise on sitenn * Promote high standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality at all timesnnQualificationsnnThe successful Site Engineer will have:nn * Previous experience as a Site Engineer or in a setting out role on civil engineering projectsnn * Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and relevant regulationsnn * Experience using robotic total stations or EDM instrumentsnn * Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineeringnn * Strong communication and coordination skillsnn * A self-driven, results-focused approach with a positive attitudenn * CSCS cardnn * 3+ years’ setting out experiencennDesirable:nn * Experience working in the water industry or on wastewater treatment worksnn * AutoCAD and MS Office experiencenn * Temporary works coordination experiencenn * Cable avoidance trainingnn * First Aid trainingnn * NEBOSH or IOSH qualificationnnBenefitsnn * Competitive salary, company pension, and life assurancenn * Private medical cover and employee assistance supportnn * 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays and loyalty daysnn * Flexible benefits via salary sacrifice, plus car allowance, car scheme, or van depending on positionnn * Ongoing training, leadership development, appraisal support, and service awardsnnIf you are a Site Engineer looking for your next opportunity on a major wastewater infrastructure project, we would like to hear from you
