Business Management and Digital Marketing LecturerDepartment: AcademicLocations Available: Newcastle Upon Tyne or SunderlandPotential Start Date: May 2026Position Type: Permanent Working Hours: 37.5 hours per weekWorking Pattern: Monday to FridayReports To: Course DirectorJob OverviewUK Management College is seeking an enthusiastic andknowledgeable Lecturer in Business Management and Digital Marketing to deliverhigh-quality teaching across business and digital marketing modules. Thepostholder will contribute to an engaging learning environment, support studentachievement, and ensure curriculum content reflects current industry practiceand academic standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and LearningnDeliver lectures, seminars, and workshops across Business Management and Digital Marketing modules.nTeach subjects including marketing strategy, digitalmarketing, SEO, social media, content marketing, data analytics, and business management principles.nDevelop and update teaching materials to ensure academic quality and industry relevance.nEncourage student participation, critical thinking, and applied learning.nProvide timely, constructive feedback on student assessments.Assessment and Student SupportnDesign, set, and mark assessments including coursework, projects, and examinations.nSupervise student projects and provide guidance on business and digital marketing campaigns.nProvide academic guidance and pastoral support as a personal tutor.nMonitor student progress and contribute to student retentionand success.nProfessional Practice and Industry EngagementnMaintain up-to-date subject knowledge in business anddigital marketing through continuous professional development.nEngage with industry partners to enhance curriculum contentand student employability.nSupport the delivery of industry workshops and guestlectures where appropriate.nQuality Assurance and AdministrationnContribute to curriculum development, review, and quality assurance processes.nComplete academic administration including attendance monitoring, assessment submission, and record keeping. nParticipate in academic meetings and College activities in line with policies and procedures.Person SpecificationEssential:nMaster’s degree in Business Management, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline (PhD preferred).nTeaching qualification or willingness to achieve one.nExperience teaching in higher education and/or significant professional experience in business or digital marketing.nExperience with industry-standard tools such as Google Analytics, social media analytics platforms and/or CRM systems.nKnowledge of web development or web design principles, including website design, user experience (UX) and/or basic front-end development, as part of digital marketing practice.nStrong knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics, and online campaign management.nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.nCompetence in using digital learning platforms and educational technologies.nCommitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.nPassion for teaching and student success.BenefitsnCompetitive salary and benefits package.nOpportunities for professional development and career progression.nAccess to academic resources and support networks.nSupportive and inclusive academic community
