Support Worker (Children & Young People)n Location: UxbridgenSalary: up to £28,500 per annum (DOE)nFull-time | Rolling rota (includes sleep-ins)nnWe are recruiting Support Workers to join an Ofsted-registered residential home for adolescent boys with Learning Disabilities and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This role is ideal for someone with a QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent, who is passionate about making a positive impact in young people's lives.nnKey ResponsibilitiesnnProvide high-quality care, promoting the health, welfare, education and development of young people.nContribute to a safe, supportive and homely environment where young people feel secure and valued.nSupport daily routines, including household tasks, appointments, education, leisure activities and family contact.nBuild positive relationships while maintaining clear professional boundaries.nAssist with keyworker responsibilities, contributing to care plans and progress reviews.nApply de-escalation and behaviour management strategies when required.nWork collaboratively with colleagues, parents, social workers and external professionals.nParticipate in training and professional development, including undertaking the Diploma Level 4 in Residential Childcare (sponsored after probation).Shift PatternnnRolling rota of 2 days on, 2 days off including sleep-ins (shared within the team).RequirementsnnQCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent (essential).nExperience working with young people in a residential, educational, or care setting.nStrong communication, teamwork and behaviour management skills.nAbility to work under pressure and handle challenging behaviour calmly.nCommitment to safeguarding and professional standards.nDriving licence desirable (occasional travel with young people is required).BenefitsnnSalary: up to £28,500 DOE.nSponsored training: Diploma Level 4 in Residential Childcare.nOngoing professional development and support.nRewarding role making a real difference in young people's lives. nn#STRJP
