This Senior Civil Engineer opportunity offers responsibility, variety and a clear route toward Principal level within a respected consultancy.nnA well-established engineering consultancy is strengthening its Birmingham team and is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to deliver highways and drainage design across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. The Senior Civil Engineer will work on projects ranging from local schemes through to large and complex infrastructure design.nnThe RolennAs a Senior Civil Engineer, you will take responsibility for delivering highways and drainage design packages while supporting project coordination.nnKey responsibilities include:nn* Leading highways design including S38 and S278 schemes n* Preparing drainage strategies and detailed designs for S104 and S98 approvals n* Designing SuDS features, pumping stations and attenuation systems n* Coordinating design inputs across multidisciplinary teams n* Ensuring compliance with UK standards and CDM Regulations n* Reviewing drawings, calculations and technical reports n* Supporting project delivery to programme and quality standards nnAbout YounnThis Senior Civil Engineer role suits an engineer ready to take the next step in responsibility.nnYou will ideally have:nn* A degree in Civil Engineering n* Strong experience in highways and drainage design n* Experience with AutoCAD and drainage software n* Progress toward Chartered status n* Strong communication and collaborative skills nnSalary for this Senior Civil Engineer position is £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience.nnEligibility to ApplynnApplicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
