Are you a vigilant and reliable traffic marshal looking for a long-term role in York? We are seeking a professional banksman to join a large-scale commercial development for an immediate start.nnAs the first point of contact for all site deliveries and visitors, you will play a critical role in maintaining site safety and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic.nnThe Role:nnManaging the safe movement of plant, delivery vehicles, and pedestrians on and around the site.nActing as the primary point of contact at the site entrance for all deliveries.nEnsuring all drivers adhere to site speed limits and safety protocols.nCommunicating effectively with plant operators (Telehandlers/Crane drivers) via radio or hand signals.nMaintaining a clear and safe site entrance and ensuring no mud or debris is left on public highways.nAssisting with site security by checking credentials and ensuring all visitors are signed in.nnRequirements:nnValid Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman certificate.nValid CSCS card.nPrevious experience on commercial or high-volume construction sites.nFull PPE (High-vis trousers and vest, hard hat, steel toe boots).nStrong communication skills and a firm but polite manner.nReliability and a sharp eye for detail.nnApply Now:nnYou can apply for this long-term role today by uploading your most recent CV.
