Behaviour Mentor – Year 4 (SEMH & Behaviour Support)n Waltham Forest, E17 (commutable from Walthamstow, Leyton, Chingford, Tottenham, Hackney)n £105-£120 per dayn Start Date: ASAPn Contract: Full-time, long-term temporaryn n Long Term Futures is seeking a calm, confident and resilient Behaviour Mentor to support a Year 4 pupil with behavioural and emotional needs in a supportive primary school in Waltham Forest.n This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in behaviour management or SEMH support, who can provide clear structure, consistent boundaries and a positive, steady presence throughout the school day.n n About the Rolen Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo and pastoral team, your responsibilities will include:n * Providing 1:1 behaviour support for a Year 4 pupiln * Supporting emotional regulation using calm, consistent and trauma-informed approachesn * Managing challenging behaviour using de-escalation strategiesn * Helping the pupil maintain focus, follow routines and meet expectationsn * Acting as a positive role model and trusted adultn * Supporting re-engagement with learning following dysregulationn * Working collaboratively with staff to implement behaviour plansn This is a hands-on role requiring resilience, patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.n n Ideal Candidate Profilen * Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour or SEMH needsn * Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skillsn * Calm, confident and consistent approachn * Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupilsn * Proactive and committed to a long-term rolen n Why Work with Long Term Futures?n * Long-term placements offering stability and meaningful impactn * Weekly pay via our streamlined digital systemn * Free CPD including Behaviour Management and SEMH trainingn * A dedicated consultant providing ongoing support and guidancen n Next Stepsn Apply today with your CV to arrange a trial day.
