PPM is currently looking for Mobile Electricians and Technicians/Testers in LEEDS and surrounding areasnn*Please note – the client has got plenty of work. There is plenty of weekends to go at and they get plenty of OOH call outs too.nnJob 1: PPM electrician (gold card, doesn't need 2391)nnSalary: £37.5k – £40K depending on experience. There will be the possibility of weekend bonuses which equate to £200 per shift and additional bonuses for call outs carried out of hours.
This will be based door to door on a 47.5-hour contract.nnAbout the Role:nWe're looking for a fully qualified Mobile Maintenance / PPM Electrician to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across retail, industrial and commercial sites, ensuring compliance and safe day-to-day operations to NICEIC standards.nnRequirements:nn– Fully qualified Electrician (2365 with NVQ 3 or 236 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent) with 17th or 18th Edition. Gold Card desirable.nn- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).nn- IT literate, able to use smartphone/tablet.nn– Able to carry and use steps/ladders for short-duration work at height.nnJob 2: PPM technician (gold card with 2391)nnSalary: £40k – £42.5K depending on experience. You'll deliver compliance, planned maintenance and fixed wire testing (EICRs) to NICEIC standards, ensuring properties remain safe and compliant.nnRequirements:nn– Fully qualified Electrician (2365 with NVQ 3 or 236 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent) with 17th or 18th Edition.nn- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent).nn- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).nn- PPM maintenance and fixed wire testing experience.nn- IT literate, confident with smartphone/tablet.nn– Able to carry and use steps/ladders for short-duration work at height.nnKey Duties for Both Roles:nn- Carry out compliance visits, remedial works, lighting maintenance.nn- Test emergency lighting and fire alarms.nn- Perform PAT testing and fire extinguisher servicing.nn- Support occasional small project work as needed.nnPersonal Attributes for Both Roles:nn- Personable, professional, excellent communication.nn- Works independently and collaboratively.nn– High standards, strong quality control.nn- Proactive, flexible, confident.nn- Open to overtime, weekends, and staying away when needed (expenses paid).nn- Positive, dynamic approach with focus on problem-solving.nnTo Apply, please send your CV to (url removed) or call on (phone number removed)
