KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability SectorsnnJob Title: SIA / Security TutornLocation: Manchester – Site based delivery (Must be flexible with travel)nSalary: £31,300 (inclusive of car allowance)nType: Full Time, PermanentnnCriteria:nnMust hold a recognised Teaching Qualification at Level 3 or above.nOccupational competency in Security, within the last 5 years.nHold Level 3 in First Aid; Level 3 Conflict Management and Physical Intervention.nHold own Functional Skills Level 2 (or GCSE equivalents) in English, Maths and ICT.nExperience of delivering coaching and training to Security professionals.nDriver, with own vehicle (flexible with travel).nMust possess a sound knowledge of SIA regulations and industry standards.Duties include:nnTeach / assess learners in a classroom-based environment, who are working towards SIA approved programmes.nEmbed Maths, English and Digital Skills in to delivery.nEnsure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours.nMonitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.nKeep abreast of changes within SIA regulations and industry best practice.nProvide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.nOvercome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.Personal Skills:nnOrganisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectivelynConfident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate peoplenQuality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learnersPlease note:nKM Recruitment receive a high number of applications for each role advertised and although we would like to we are not always able to deliver feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
