We have a current opportunity for a Trading Floor Desktop Support Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in London. For further information about this position please apply.nnWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer‑focused Trading Floor Desktop Support Engineer to support a high‑pressure front‑office environment.
You will work directly with traders, quants, and analysts to ensure all desktop, application, data, and connectivity issues are resolved rapidly with minimal impact to trading activity.nnA strong ability to troubleshoot Excel‑based pricing sheets and formula logic is highly beneficial.nnKey ResponsibilitiesnnProvide L1/L2 desktop and application support to traders and other front‑office usersnTroubleshoot issues related to Windows 11, O365, Outlook, network connectivity and hardwarenSupport and maintain trading turrets, dealer boards, and voice systemsnRapidly troubleshoot Excel pricing sheets, including broken formulas, incorrect references, or data link issuesnAssist with market data add‑ins (Bloomberg API, ICE, CME add‑ins)nManage incident tickets and escalate where appropriatenPerform desktop builds, upgrades, and deployments using enterprise toolsnSupport trading floor moves, device rollout projects, and hardware refresh plansnWork closely with infrastructure, network, app support, and dev engineering teamsnParticipate in shift patterns or on‑call rotations as needednAbility to create clear KB documentation nnRequired Skills & Experiencenn2-5+ years' desktop or trade‑floor support experiencenStrong understanding of Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365nAdvanced Excel debugging including formula tracing, named ranges, dependency checkingnAbility to communicate effectively with front‑office usersnExperience in a financial services or fast‑paced trading environmentnBasic understanding of ITIL processesDesirable SkillsnnFamiliarity with Excel-based pricing models used in front‑office teamsnTurret / voice trading systems (Cloud9)nSCCM/IntunenPowerShell scriptingnBasic networking (DHCP, DNS, VLANs)nUnderstanding of equities, FX, fixed income, or derivatives workflowsnITIL FoundationnSQL query building basic levelPersonal AttributesnnCalm, confident, and solution‑drivennStrong attention to detailnExcellent communicator, especially under pressurenProactive, resourceful, and able to prioritise effectivelynComfortable supporting demanding front‑office stakeholdersTo find out more about Huxley, please visit nnHuxley, a trading division of SThree Partnership LLP is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy | Registered office | 8 Bishopsgate, London, EC2N 4BQ, United Kingdom | Partnership Number | OC(phone number removed) England and Wales
