Head of Fire Engineering (Fire Engineer / Fire Safety Engineering Lead – Advisory Consultancy)nnLocation: London / Hybrid (flexible UK considered)nnSalary: £100,000 – £125,000 + package (flexible for the right individual)nnOverview nnAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire Engineer / Fire Safety Engineer to step into a Head of Fire Engineering position within a growing advisory-led consultancy.nnThis is not a replacement or backfill hire. The role is focused on establishing and leading a Fire Engineering function, shaping technical delivery, and building a team around a strong base of existing client demand.nnThe business operates across asset management, building compliance, fire safety, and estate-wide advisory programmes, working with large and complex portfolios.nnKey Responsibilities nnLead and develop a Fire Engineering / Fire Safety Engineering service offeringnnProvide technical and strategic fire engineering advice across complex estatesnnEngage directly with clients, including estates teams and senior stakeholdersnnDeliver fire strategies, fire safety advice, and performance-based design inputnnSupport and develop fire safety compliance and asset-based programmesnnBuild and grow a team of Fire Engineers / Fire Safety EngineersnnContribute to wider advisory and consultancy services across the businessnnWhat's in Place nnEstablished relationships across large, complex estates (healthcare, public sector, commercial portfolios)nnImmediate demand for fire engineering and fire safety consultancy supportnnStrong financial backing to support team growth and service expansionnnExisting asset & compliance consultancy offering to integrate withnnRequirements nnExperience as a Fire Engineer / Fire Safety Engineer within a consultancy environmentnnOperating at Principal Fire Engineer / Associate Director / Senior Fire Engineer levelnnStrong understanding of UK fire safety regulations, fire strategies, and performance-based designnnExperience delivering fire engineering solutions across complex buildings or estatesnnAbility to engage with clients and contribute at a strategic levelnnAmbition to step into a leadership or Head of Fire Engineering rolennDesirablennChartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartershipnnMembership with IFE / SFPE or similar professional bodynnExperience across sectors such as healthcare, commercial, residential, or infrastructurennOpportunity nnThis is a rare opportunity to:nnStep into a Head of Fire Engineering positionnnTake ownership of a new and growing fire engineering functionnnWork within an advisory consultancy model, not purely design deliverynnInfluence technical direction, client strategy, and team growthnnBuild a team with immediate follow-on hires plannednnApply / EnquiriesnnFor a confidential discussion, apply or contact Nathan at 300 North directly on (phone number removed) or (url removed) to discuss further
