Managing Consultant – Public Services – Complex Procurementn London / Hybridn £110,000-£140,000nnSR2 is supporting a leading consultancy that delivers complex public-sector transformation and commercial programmes and is looking for a Managing Consultant to join its growing public services team.nnThis is a senior consulting role for someone with strong experience in public sector procurement and commercial strategy. You will advise senior clients on complex, high-value procurements, helping shape commercial strategy and deliver outcomes from early planning through to mobilisation.nnKey ResponsibilitiesnnLead complex public sector procurement and commercial programmes end to endnShape commercial strategies, sourcing approaches and transaction models for government clientsnSupport delivery across the full commercial lifecycle, from business case and market engagement through to evaluation, negotiation and contract awardnProvide commercial and contractual insight across sourcing, supplier and delivery challengesnBuild trusted relationships with senior stakeholders including commercial leads, SROs, programme directors, legal teams and suppliersnContribute to business development, proposition growth and wider practice capability nnSkills & ExperiencennStrong consulting experience delivering complex public sector procurements under UK procurement regulationsnExperience acting as a commercial adviser and business partner in complex client environmentsnTrack record of delivering technology-enabled or business-critical procurementsnEnd-to-end commercial lifecycle experience, including business case, ITT design, evaluation, negotiation and implementation supportnStrong commercial judgement, analytical capability and value-for-money assessment skillsnExcellent stakeholder management skills and eligibility for SC clearanceBenefitsnnAnnual bonus opportunitynEnhanced pension contributionnCar allowancenPrivate healthcare and wellbeing supportnFlexible benefits including share schemes and tax-efficient options
