Talentmark are recruiting for a Validation Scientist, on behalf of a medical diagnostic company. This role will be based at their site in Gateshead and is a permanent role with Mon-Fri day time working hours. nn The Role:n To undertake validation activities relating to gel electrophoresis product development in a timely and efficient manner.nn Responsibilities:nnPerform testing of gel electrophoresis products according to pre-assigned testing and validation protocols, identifying and investigating any detrimental trends via good attention to detail and root cause analysis.nDesign investigative experiments and write clear, detailed testing plans following appropriate protocols/guidelines and GMP/GLP standards.nRecord, input and interpret data and present results in a scientific report format.nOrganisation of own workload on a day-to-day basis, to ensure tasks are completed to schedule.nCreation of new and update of existing validation protocols in line with updates to international regulations.nCreation and maintenance of technical documentation relating to regulatory submissions.nDevelop, maintain and apply in-depth theoretical electrophoresis knowledge to support validation activities and development opportunities.nWork in accordance with Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines when handling reagents and chemicals used in automated and manual techniques, complying with all statutory and site safety regulations.nRoutine maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.Essential Skills:nnBSc within the life-sciences disciplines with relevant laboratory-based experience.nExperience with GLP (good laboratory practice) in and industry setting and sound knowledge/interest in Electrophoresis.nCompetent in the use of the Internet and Microsoft Windows programs including Word, Excel Power Point, and other statistical analysis software.nExperience in supporting Validation activities.Apply:n It is essential all applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
