Small Works Project Manager (Mechanical / MEP)nnUK (London & surrounding regions)nn£55,000 – £80,000 + package (car allowance, bonus, pension)nnRole OverviewnnResponsible for managing multiple small works, mechanical and MEP projects (typically £10k-£500k) across commercial and FM environments. Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to client standards.nnKey ResponsibilitiesnnManage full project lifecycle from quotation to handovernDeliver mechanical small works, refurbishments and reactive projectsnCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labournProduce and manage programmes, RAMS and project documentationnEnsure HSE compliance in line with SMSTS standardsnMonitor project costs, variations and profitabilitynAct as primary client contact and maintain strong relationshipsnOversee commissioning, snagging and final handovernnExperience Requirednn5-10+ years in mechanical / MEP project deliverynProven experience managing small works or fit-out projectsnBackground in commercial, healthcare or FM environmentsnExperience in Cat A / Cat B fit-out and refurbishment worksnStrong subcontractor and stakeholder managementnAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslynnQualificationsnnNVQ Level 6 (or equivalent) in Construction ManagementnSMSTS (essential)nMechanical trade background (HVAC / pipefitting/plumbing preferred)nnKey SkillsnnProgramme and resource managementnStrong commercial awareness (variations, cost control)nHSE leadership and compliancenClient-facing communicationnProblem-solving and delivery focusnnDesirablennExperience in live environments / occupied buildingsnKnowledge of / maintenance-led projectsnExposure to data centres or healthcare projectsnnPackage / BenefitsnnCar allowance or company vehiclenPerformance bonusnPension schemen25 days holiday + bank holidaysnCareer progression within a growing businessWR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
