Project Manager – Oil & Gas Outside IR35 | £500–£800 per day | 12 months + extensionn A leading UK engineering organisation delivering complex, high-profile projects across the energy and industrial sectors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a major long-term oil and gas programme.n With a strong reputation for technical excellence, delivery capability, and engineering standards, this is a key opportunity to take ownership of a flagship, multi-year project—managing delivery across multiple sites and stakeholders.n Key ResponsibilitiesnLead full project lifecycle delivery from initiation through to completionnAct as the primary interface with the customer, managing communication, expectations, and reportingnDrive programme execution across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and site activitiesnManage project scope, schedule, cost, and risk to ensure successful deliverynCoordinate cross-functional teams including Projects, Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and SHEQnOversee project planning, resource allocation, and milestone trackingnIdentify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive issue resolutionnEnsure compliance with industry standards, contractual requirements, and HSE regulationsnTravel regularly between Stockport, Lisburn, and the customer site in TeessideEssential RequirementsnProven experience as a Project Manager within the oil and gas sectornStrong track record delivering complex engineering or EPC-style projectsnExperience managing multi-site projects and cross-functional teamsnAbility to confidently interface with customers and senior stakeholdersnStrong understanding of project controls, risk management, and commercial awarenessnFamiliarity with engineering, manufacturing, and installation environmentsnWillingness to travel as required across multiple locationsWhat’s on OffernOutside IR35 contractnCompetitive day ratenInitial 12-month assignment with strong potential for long-term extensionnOpportunity to lead delivery on a major, high-profile oil and gas programmeIf you are an experienced Project Manager with a strong oil and gas background and a track record of delivering complex engineering projects, we’d love to hear from you
