This is a long-term opportunity offering stable work for up to five years on a high-profile infrastructure scheme.nnKey Responsibilitiesn* Operate cranes safely and efficiently in shaft sinking and tunnelling environmentsn* Carry out lifting operations in line with approved lift plans and method statementsn* Communicate effectively with Slinger/Signallers using radio and hand signalsn* Perform daily checks and basic maintenance on crane equipmentn* Ensure all lifting activities are conducted in accordance with site safety proceduresn* Work in challenging environments, including confined and underground conditions where requiredn* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliancennEssential Requirementsn* Valid Crane Operator certification (CPCS / NPORS or equivalent)n* Proven experience working on shaft sinking and tunnelling projectsn* Confined Spaces certification (Medium/High Risk) – essentialn* Valid medical certificate (safety-critical) – essentialn* Strong understanding of lifting operations and crane safetyn* Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends if requiredn* Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a teamnnDesirablen* Experience operating cranes in confined or restricted environmentsn* CSCS cardn* First Aid certificationn* Experience on major civil engineering or underground infrastructure projectsnnWhat We Offern* Long-term work (up to 5 years) on a major infrastructure projectn* Competitive pay rates with overtime opportunitiesn* Travel and accommodation allowances (where applicable)n* Ongoing training and career developmentn* A strong safety-first working culturennHow to ApplynPlease submit your CV along with copies of your certifications, including Crane Operator ticket, Confined Spaces, and valid medical, outlining your experience on shaft sinking and tunnelling projects.
