Assistant/ Intermediate M&E QS Required – Central Londonnn£35,000 – £50,000 plus company benefitsnnI’m currently working with one of the leading M&E Contractors in London who are looking to recruit an additional Assistant M&E QS to their team. The business have a tried and tested training and development program where many of the Senior Surveyors in the business have progressed through the ranks whilst being mentored by the Commercial director and Commercial Managers.nnExperience working within the M&E Sector is required with ideal experience being someone that has at least 2/3 years on the job. The role itself will be supporting a Senior M&E QS on a recently secured project within the City valued around £10m MEP.
Beyond this project, they will be looking for this person to potentially manage their own smaller project.nnOpen to people from different project sectors whether it’s residential, commercial, eduction or retail but the MEP Experience is required. Being degree qualified would be a bonus but not required. They would be open to assisting with further academic studies for the right individual.nnDuties will include:nn * Assisting Cost Value reconciliations (CVRs)nn * Assisting Cash Flow forecastingnn * Management of subcontractor accountsnn * Negotiation of variations, calculations & settlement of assisting final accountsnn * Procurement of specialist Mechanical and Electrical Sub-Contractorsnn * Managing monthly project cost reports in time for monthly Directors meetingsnn * Preparation of monthly Project Valuations and preparation of Project Final AccountnnCandidate requirements:nn * Ambitious and enthusiastic towards their career and projectsnn * Strong communication skillsnn * Experience working within an M&E Contractornn * Relevant qualificationsnn * Competitive salary, car allowance, pension, healthcare, expensesnnFor further information and to discuss this role, or a selection of other roles I am currently recruiting in more detail for either yourself or someone you know please give me a call on (phone number removed)
