Mechanical Project Engineer – Tier 1 M&E Contractor – Central London – Major Residential ProjectsnnA leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their growing team delivering large-scale residential developments across Central London.nnThis is an excellent opportunity to join one of the most established and respected M&E contractors in the market, working on prestigious projects with well-known main contractors. The role offers long-term work, exposure to major developments, and above-market salaries/packages or competitive day rates.nnThe RolennYou will play a key role across both technical preconstruction and project delivery, ensuring mechanical packages are engineered effectively before moving onto site to deliver complex installations.nnWorking alongside experienced project teams, you will help drive projects from engineering and technical planning through to successful site delivery.nnKey Responsibilitiesnn * Support the engineering and technical preconstruction phase of major residential developmentsnn * Review and coordinate mechanical designs, specifications and technical submissionsnn * Assist with value engineering and buildability reviewsnn * Liaise with consultants, designers and main contractors during the preconstruction stagenn * Transition to site during delivery to support project management and coordination of mechanical worksnn * Monitor programme, quality, and technical compliance on sitenn * Support procurement of mechanical packages and specialist subcontractorsnn * Ensure installations meet project specifications and industry standardsnnRequirementsnn * Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Project Engineer within the M&E / Building Services sectornn * Previous exposure to large residential or mixed-use developmentsnn * Strong understanding of mechanical building services systemsnn * Experience working with M&E contractors or major subcontractorsnn * Ability to support both preconstruction engineering and site delivery phasesnn * Strong coordination and communication skills when working with project teams and main contractorsnnThe Opportunitynn * Work with one of the largest and most respected Tier 1 M&E contractors in the UKnn * Involvement in major residential developments across Central Londonnn * Above-market salary packages or competitive day rates availablenn * Long-term pipeline of secured projectsnn * Clear progression opportunities within a growing businessnnThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer looking to work on landmark London developments with a contractor known for delivering some of the capital’s most prestigious projects
