MCS Group are working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation to recruit a Technical Engineer to join their team based in the UK. This organisation operates within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, delivering structural solutions across a range of projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging designs while engaging directly with clients and playing a key role in project delivery from enquiry through to completion. The Role The Technical Engineer will be responsible for delivering design and technical support across a range of structural projects. Following a period of on-the-job training, you will work independently, liaising directly with customers while producing calculations, drawings and technical solutions to meet project requirements. Prepare structural calculations and load assessments in line with relevant standards Produce bespoke design solutions and technical drawings using CAD software Generate accurate technical quotations and deliver within agreed timescales Liaise directly with customers, providing technical advice and design support Oversee projects from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring quality and compliance What’s in it for you; Competitive salary and benefits package Flexible working with early finish on a Friday Clear path for career development within a progressive organisation Hands-on role with exposure to design, customer interaction and project delivery The Ideal Candidate; Civil, Structural or Mechanical) Experience working with traditional materials such as timber, steel and concrete Knowledge of AutoCAD and production of manufacturing drawings Strong organisational and communication skills with a customer-focused approach Full details will be discussed upon application.
