Position: Artifact Expert — Data Analyst Type: Contract Compensation: $80–$120/hour Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Review existing analytics slides, SQL/Python notebooks, and sheets. Provide detailed, constructive feedback to enhance clarity and accuracy.
• Create original analytics artifacts such as insight decks, ad-hoc analyses, and A/B-test write-ups. Ensure high standards of analytical rigor.
• Annotate and comment on artifacts to improve structure and narrative. Elevate the analytical rigor of each piece.
• Apply data-analysis expertise to ensure artifacts reflect realistic, high-quality professional output.
• Work independently and asynchronously to deliver consistent, high-quality work on a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, or data science.
• Comfortable with SQL, Python or R, and presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and written communication.
• Self-directed; can deliver consistent, high-quality work on a flexible schedule.
