Position: IT Support Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $50–$70/hour Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Build long-horizon IT tasks with deterministic rubrics to evaluate agent performance.
- Develop scenarios in Helpdesk with tickets having known resolutions and diagnostic steps.
- Create Identity and Access scenarios for provisioning with defined role-based outcomes and SSO/MFA issues.
- Design Endpoint and SaaS scenarios for device setup and license management against specified targets.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve task quality.
- Collaborate to ensure tasks have checkable answers without subjective judgment.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2+ years in IT support, helpdesk, or sysadmin.
- Expertise in identity and access (Okta, Active Directory, Entra ID), endpoint management (Jamf, Intune), M365 or Google Workspace admin, ticketing ops (Jira, ServiceNow).
- Comfortable with IT artifacts: tickets, runbooks, access-change requests, incident write-ups.
- Clear written communication; can articulate reasoning and encode it into deterministic rubrics.
Preferred
- CompTIA, ITIL, or equivalent certifications.
