Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and root cause analysis to identify potential hazards.
  • Oversee incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures, including first aid protocols.
  • Prepare detailed reports on safety performance and compliance.
  • Train staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness across all levels of the organization.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in environmental health and safety management within the healthcare or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of UK safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent report writing skills for documentation and compliance reporting.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis effectively.
  • First aid certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and leadership qualities.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
